Sango and the east side of Clarksville are where most Fort Campbell families with children buy: 1990s-to-current subdivisions, the newer schools in the county system, and a ten-to-twenty-minute drive to the gates on Highway 41A or 76. It carries the higher band in the city, and that premium is schools and construction age rather than commute. For a VA buyer the loan is straightforward at this band; the things to check are HOA dues on the newer subdivisions and the tax bill, which is low by national standards.

Sango is the east side of Clarksville — the area along Highway 76, Sango Road and out toward Rossview Road — and it is where the city's growth has gone for twenty-five years. The draw is the Clarksville-Montgomery County schools on this side of town — Rossview and the Sango-area campuses — and subdivisions built from the 1990s through today with three- and four-bedroom homes on modest lots. The trade is price: Sango and Rossview carry the highest bands in the city, and a 1990s house here costs more than a newer one in North Clarksville. It is also farther from the post than the north side, though not by much.
