Oak Grove sits at Fort Campbell's Kentucky-side gates and Hopkinsville is the county seat twenty minutes north; both are cheaper than Clarksville and both are in a different state. That matters more than the price: Kentucky has a state income tax, its own property tax rules and its own disabled-veteran exemption, and Tennessee's benefits do not apply.
